§ 5.20.090. Chief of Police's findings and recommendation.

  • The application shall be set for hearing by the City Council if the Chief of Police finds that:

    A.

    The application is complete and truthful;

    B.

    Neither the applicant nor his or her operation is likely to be injurious to the public welfare, as by victimizing or defrauding suggestible persons or otherwise;

    C.

    All applicable laws and ordinances (including zoning regulations) are complied with; and

    D.

    Neither the applicant nor any person financially interested in the business operated on the premises has been convicted of a felony or of any crime involving moral turpitude or dishonesty.
